Country Star Trey Taylor to Perform Concert for Single Parents

Fort Smith, Ark. (June 10, 2022) — Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund is delighted to announce that rising country and western star Trey Taylor ( will return to Fort Smith!

Trey sang at a benefit for single parents last spring and was so touched by the work ASPSF does that he’s coming back to do it again! Mark your calendars for what’s sure to be another stellar concert at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 24 at The Where-House, 8 N. 12th St. in Fort Smith.

The fun event will start with hamburgers and hot dogs graciously provided by First Security Bank in Fort Smith. Trey will perform from 6:00-7:15 p.m., followed by a happy hour courtesy of Pernod Ricard with a meet-and-greet opportunity with Trey for autographs and pictures!

The son of a single mother, Trey has a passion for his music and a deep desire to give back. Trey is the youngest African American in country music history. The Denver Post wrote, “It's impossible to miss his enthusiasm. With a fondness for cowboy boots, gaudy colors, and dazzling jewelry, Trey Taylor could stand toe to toe with any of the Pop, Country, or even Rap contemporaries of his generation, a fact that hasn't been lost on audiences across the world."

ASPSF is thankful to have Trey return for another benefit concert. With the help of community support, ASPSF awards flexible scholarships to help with what single parents need most as they pursue a certificate, associate degree, bachelor’s degree, or trade-school program.
