Katherine Foust - Volunteer of the Month

Katherine Foust, community member of Conway County for all of her life, is an extraordinary and phenomenal woman. She is known and loved dearly by every citizen who lives in Morrilton and throughout Conway County. Katherine is a 78 year ‘tour-de-force’, who lives life to the fullest – parasailing and zip-lining with her grand-daughters in recent years past. “I love to do anything fun and different that I have never done,” she says.

She is involved with the School Counts Initiative, GFWC Adelaide Club, and Petit Jean State Bank Board of Directors. For the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund, Katherine has been an active volunteer for years. She serves by attending monthly meetings, leading an annual fundraiser to raise funds for scholarships for single parents, and nominating and engaging community members to become volunteers and assist single parents to receive scholarships, be honored at local awards ceremonies, and participate in student development workshops.

Her impeccable reputation as a community leader, her longevity in serving local organizations in Morrilton, her kindness and compassion as a leader, and her effervescent demeanor and tenacity make her invaluable to our organization and to single parents in Conway County. When you ask for her help, she will do anything she can to support our program and the single parents that we serve. Thank you for everything, Katherine!
