Be sure Adobe® Reader® 8.1 or above is installed on your computer.

Click on a form link to open the form, then use the Typewriter tool to type text anywhere on the form pages:

  • From the Tools menu click Typewriter > Show Typewriter Toolbar, and then click the Typewriter button.
  • Click your cursor where you want to type. Begin typing. Press Enter to add a second line.
  • To change the size of text, select the text and click the Decrease Text Size button or the Increase Text Size button in the Typewriter toolbar.
  • To change the line spacing, select the text and click the Decrease Line Spacing button or the Increase Line Spacing button.
  • To move or resize a block of text, click on the block of text to show its borders then drag the text block or one of its corners.
  • To edit the text again, select the Typewriter tool, and then double-click in the Typewriter text.

Application Requirements

Deadlines:

  • Fall semester: July 15
  • Spring semester: December 1
  • Summer semesters: May 15

Single parents selected for financial assistance must meet the following criteria:

  1. Resident of Van Buren County, Arkansas.
  2. Single head of household (single, separated, divorced, widowed) with sole custody of children under the age of eighteen.
  3. Low income person at or near the poverty level.
  4. High School graduate or equivalent (may apply if enrolled in college and in process of obtaining GED diploma).
  5. Pursuing an undergraduate course of study, to ensure a better standard of living for her/his family. Applicants cannot already have earned a baccalaureate level degree.
  6. Recipient of a Pell Grant or in the process of obtaining same.
  7. Maintain the accumulated grade point average established by the teaching institution for graduation.
