To change the line spacing, select the text and click the Decrease Line Spacing button or the Increase Line Spacing button.
To move or resize a block of text, click on the block of text to show its borders then drag the text block or one of its corners.
To edit the text again, select the Typewriter tool, and then double-click in the Typewriter text.

Application Deadlines and Requirements
Deadlines:

Spring semester - January 5

Fall semester - August 5

Single parents selected for financial assistance will meet the following criteria:

A resident of Sevier County, Arkansas,

A high school or GED graduate,

A single head of household (single, legally separated, divorced, and widowed) with sole custody of one or more children under the age of 18.

Pursuing a career-oriented course of study (full time) to ensure a better standard of living for his/her family. Applicants cannot already have earned an undergraduate degree.

A low-income person at or near the poverty level.

A recipient of, or in the process of obtaining a Pell Grant.

Many times single parents feel there is no hope for an education after having children. With the help of SPSF/SC and other organizations, single parents can rise above the statistics, get a quality education, and make a better life for themselves and their children.
