Complete the scholarship application using Adobe Reader.

Open the scholarship application form in Adobe Reader. Use the Typewriter tool to type text anywhere on the page.

If you don't see the Typewriter Toolbar: from the Tools menu click Typewriter > Show Typewriter Toolbar, then click the Typewriter button.

Click your cursor where you want to type then begin typing. It's that easy!

Be sure to save a copy of the completed application form to your computer.

Read and follow all application instructions for submitting your completed scholarship application. If an original signature is required, you will need to print out the completed form and sign it prior to submitting your completed application packet.

Application Deadlines:

  • Spring semester - December 1
  • Summer semester - April 1
  • Fall semester - July 1

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Have custody of and be responsible for daily care of dependent children (under 18 years old);
  • Be a resident of Polk County, AR;
  • Be a high school graduate or in the process of achieving a GED diploma;
  • Be a recipient of or applying for a Pell Grant (and other federal financial aid); and
  • Recipients must maintain a 2.5 GPA per semester to be eligible for continued scholarship consideration.
  • Priority will be given to full-time students who are enrolled in or have been accepted by a public or private non-profit post secondary school in a program providing marketable skills to achieve self-sufficiency and a better standard of living; and to applicants who are heads of households.
