Be sure Adobe® Reader® 8.1 or above is installed on your computer.

Click on a form link to open the form, then use the Typewriter tool to type text anywhere on the form pages:

  • From the Tools menu click Typewriter > Show Typewriter Toolbar, and then click the Typewriter button.
  • Click your cursor where you want to type. Begin typing. Press Enter to add a second line.
  • To change the size of text, select the text and click the Decrease Text Size button or the Increase Text Size button in the Typewriter toolbar.
  • To change the line spacing, select the text and click the Decrease Line Spacing button or the Increase Line Spacing button.
  • To move or resize a block of text, click on the block of text to show its borders then drag the text block or one of its corners.
  • To edit the text again, select the Typewriter tool, and then double-click in the Typewriter text.

Be sure to save a copy of the completed application form to your computer.

Application Deadlines and Requirements

Deadlines:

  • Spring semester - January 15
  • Summer semester - June 15
  • Fall semester - September 15

Applicants selected for financial assistance will meet the following requirements:

  1. Single head of household (single, legally separated, divorced, widowed) with primary custody of child(ren) under the age of eighteen,
  2. Resident of Perry County, Arkansas,
  3. Low income person at or near the poverty level,
  4. A high school graduate or GED equivalent,
  5. Pursuing an undergraduate course of study (full or part-time) to ensure a better standard of living for his/her family. Applicants cannot already have earned a baccalaureate degree, with the exception of candidates for the MA in Teaching,
  6. Accepted into a qualifying program,
  7. Recipient or applicant of a Pell Grant.
