Be sure Adobe® Reader® 8.1 or above is installed on your computer.

Click on a form link to open the form, then use the Typewriter tool to type text anywhere on the form pages:

  • From the Tools menu click Typewriter > Show Typewriter Toolbar, and then click the Typewriter button.
  • Click your cursor where you want to type. Begin typing. Press Enter to add a second line.
  • To change the size of text, select the text and click the Decrease Text Size button or the Increase Text Size button in the Typewriter toolbar.
  • To change the line spacing, select the text and click the Decrease Line Spacing button or the Increase Line Spacing button.
  • To move or resize a block of text, click on the block of text to show its borders then drag the text block or one of its corners.
  • To edit the text again, select the Typewriter tool, and then double-click in the Typewriter text.

Be sure to save a copy of the completed application form to your computer.

Application Deadlines:

  • Spring semester: November 15
  • Fall semester: June 1

Eligibility Requirements:

  • May not have previously obtained a Bachelor’s Degree,
  • Must meet the Federal Guidelines for low-income families,
  • Must be a resident of Miller County, Arkansas or Bowie County, TX,
  • Must be a single parent, with legal custody and have sole responsibility for the daily care of at least one minor child,
  • Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent,
  • If already attending school, must have a 2.0 GPA or higher for the most recent semester and have maintained a 2.0 cumulative GPA or higher,
  • Must be eligible for the Pell Grant, and
  • Must be enrolled (or planning to enroll) in an undergraduate degree program within a 30 mile radius of Texarkana.
