Be sure Adobe® Reader® 8.1 or above is installed on your computer.

Click on a form link to open the form, then use the Typewriter tool to type text anywhere on the form pages:

  • From the Tools menu click Typewriter > Show Typewriter Toolbar, and then click the Typewriter button.
  • Click your cursor where you want to type. Begin typing. Press Enter to add a second line.
  • To change the size of text, select the text and click the Decrease Text Size button or the Increase Text Size button in the Typewriter toolbar.
  • To change the line spacing, select the text and click the Decrease Line Spacing button or the Increase Line Spacing button.
  • To move or resize a block of text, click on the block of text to show its borders then drag the text block or one of its corners.
  • To edit the text again, select the Typewriter tool, and then double-click in the Typewriter text.

Be sure to save a copy of the completed application form to your computer.

Application Deadlines and Requirements

Deadlines:

  • Fall semester - July 15
  • Spring semester - December 1
  • Summer semesters - May 1

Single parents selected for financial assistance through our fund will meet the following criteria:

  1. Have custody of and be responsible for daily care of his/her children under age 18,
  2. Be a single head of household (divorced, widowed, separated, never married),
  3. Be a resident of Logan County, Arkansas,
  4. Be a high school graduate or have achieved a GED,
  5. Be enrolled in (or accepted by) a public or private nonprofit post-secondary school in a program providing marketable skills to achieve self-sufficiency and a better standard of living,
  6. Be a recipient of a Pell Grant or in the process of obtaining one, and
  7. Maintain a 2.5 GPA for scholarship renewal.
