Be sure Adobe® Reader® 8.1 or above is installed on your computer.

Click on a form link to open the form, then use the Typewriter tool to type text anywhere on the form pages:

  • From the Tools menu click Typewriter > Show Typewriter Toolbar, and then click the Typewriter button.
  • Click your cursor where you want to type. Begin typing. Press Enter to add a second line.
  • To change the size of text, select the text and click the Decrease Text Size button or the Increase Text Size button in the Typewriter toolbar.
  • To change the line spacing, select the text and click the Decrease Line Spacing button or the Increase Line Spacing button.
  • To move or resize a block of text, click on the block of text to show its borders then drag the text block or one of its corners.
  • To edit the text again, select the Typewriter tool, and then double-click in the Typewriter text.

Be sure to save a copy of the completed application form to your computer.

Scholarship Application (Click to download)

Application Deadlines:

  • Spring semester - December 15
  • Summer semester - May 15
  • Fall semester - June 15

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must reside in Johnson County, Arkansas,
  • Must be a single parent with primary custody of minor child/children,
  • Must be classified as low-income by federal poverty guidelines (150% of poverty level),
  • Must have graduated from high school, or received GED equivalent, by time of intended college enrollment,
  • Must need training in order to seek gainful employment (cannot already have a baccalaureate degree), with the exception of MA in Teaching,
  • Must be enrolled in a post-secondary course of study leading to a degree, diploma or certificate of graduation,
  • Must be recipient of a Pell grant, or in process of obtaining one,
  • Be willing to attend a 15-20 minute interview with board members
