Complete the scholarship application using Adobe Reader.

Open the scholarship application form in Adobe Reader. Use the Typewriter tool to type text anywhere on the page.

If you don't see the Typewriter Toolbar: from the Tools menu click Typewriter > Show Typewriter Toolbar, then click the Typewriter button.

Click your cursor where you want to type then begin typing. It's that easy!

Be sure to save a copy of the completed application form to your computer.

Read and follow all application instructions for submitting your completed scholarship application. If an original signature is required, you will need to print out the completed form and sign it prior to submitting your completed application packet.

Application Deadlines:

  • Spring semester - February 1
  • Fall semester - September 15

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Resident of Howard County, Arkansas;
  • High school or GED graduate;
  • Single head of household (single, legally separated, married but separated, divorced, or widowed) who is solely responsible for one or more dependents under the age of 18;
  • Pursuing a career-oriented course of study to ensure a better standard of living for his/her family. Applicants cannot already have earned an undergraduate degree with the exception of students working towards a Master of Arts in Teaching.
  • Low-income person at or near the poverty level.
  • Recipient of, or in the process of obtaining a Pell Grant.
  • Have maintained a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
