Complete the scholarship application using Adobe Reader.

Open the scholarship application form in Adobe Reader. Use the Typewriter tool to type text anywhere on the page.

If you don't see the Typewriter Toolbar: from the Tools menu click Typewriter > Show Typewriter Toolbar, then click the Typewriter button.

Click your cursor where you want to type then begin typing. It's that easy!

Be sure to save a copy of the completed application form to your computer.

Read and follow all application instructions for submitting your completed scholarship application. If an original signature is required, you will need to print out the completed form and sign it prior to submitting your completed application packet.

Application Deadline: July 15

Applications are only accepted once per year.

The application and documentation should reflect the applicant's enrollment and financial status as of the fall semester of school.

Students who are awarded scholarships and maintain their eligibility status will receive a scholarship disbursement for the fall semester and an automatic disbursement for the spring semester.

Scholarships may be used for tuition, books, utility bills, car maintenance, child care, etc.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • A resident of Greene County, Arkansas,
  • A high school graduate (or equivalent) or in the process of obtaining either a diploma or GED,
  • Single head of household (single, legally separated, divorced, or widowed),
  • Pursuing an undergraduate course of study at an accredited institution of higher learning,
  • Low-income person at or near the poverty level,
  • Responsible for the care of minor-aged children,
  • Apply for the Pell Grant,
  • Does not hold bachelor level degree,
  • GPA of 2.0 or better if in school at time of application
