Be sure Adobe® Reader® 8.1 or above is installed on your computer.

Click on a form link to open the form, then use the Typewriter tool to type text anywhere on the form pages:

  • From the Tools menu click Typewriter > Show Typewriter Toolbar, and then click the Typewriter button.
  • Click your cursor where you want to type. Begin typing. Press Enter to add a second line.
  • To change the size of text, select the text and click the Decrease Text Size button or the Increase Text Size button in the Typewriter toolbar.
  • To change the line spacing, select the text and click the Decrease Line Spacing button or the Increase Line Spacing button.
  • To move or resize a block of text, click on the block of text to show its borders then drag the text block or one of its corners.
  • To edit the text again, select the Typewriter tool, and then double-click in the Typewriter text.

Application Deadlines and Requirements

Deadlines:

  • Fall semester: August 15
  • Spring semester: January 1
  • Summer semesters: June 1

Single parents selected for financial assistance will meet the following criteria:

  1. Be a resident of Franklin County, Arkansas;
  2. Be a single head of household (divorced, widowed, separated, never married);
  3. Have custody of and be responsible for daily care of at least one minor child;
  4. Low income person at or near the poverty level;
  5. Be a high school graduate or have achieved a GED;
  6. Be enrolled in (or accepted by) a public or private nonprofit post-secondary school in a program providing marketable skills to achieve self-sufficiency and a better standard of living. Applicants must not have a baccalaureate degree with the exception of those pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching.
  7. Be a recipient of or applying for a Pell Grant;
  8. Maintain a 2.0 GPA for scholarship renewal (if lower, attach a letter of explanation).
