About the Harps Scholars Program
Harps Food Stores has awarded a $22,000 grant to ASPSF for the purpose of continuing a Harps Scholars Program in 2010.

Affiliates of the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund serving counties in which Harps Food Stores has operations are invited to submit a request for funding of $1,000 per county. Requests should be submitted to ASPSF on or before Monday, May 10, 2010. Sub-grant award announcements will be made on Friday, May 14th, 2010.

Sub-grants made available through this announcement are considered local contributions, which are eligible for match as per ASPSF Matching Grant policies and procedures.

Award Selection and Grant Stipulations
Harps Scholars will be designated from among eligible scholarship applicants and will receive at least $500 each in scholarship awards.

Harps Scholars will participate in ceremonies honoring them.Affiliate representatives shall invite the closest official representative of Harps Food Stores and local media to participate in the award ceremonies.

Each scholarship awardee will receive a certificate recognizing her or him as a Harps Scholar, signed by a Harps Food Stores official and the President of the Single Parent Scholarship Fund Board of Directors.

Affiliates will submit to ASPSF for a final report to Harps Food Stores the following: photos of the award ceremony and copies of any print news coverage.

To use the template, download and open the file then click on each blank in the certificate form to enter text. When the certificate is completed, it can be printed and signed by an affiliate board member and a Harps Food Stores representative.
